Dine with me: Snooze, an a.m. eatery

Edition two of ‘dine with me’ features “Snooze, an a.m. eatery.” It’s one of my favorite restaurants, I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve been there. They have several different locations, with quite a few in Southern California. The only one in Orange County is in Tustin, which is pretty centralized in OC.

DSC_1150.JPGIt’s decorated with a super retro, mid century kind of feel. It has Palm Springs vibes, which makes me VERY happy.

The restaurant has a bar area that makes boozy breakfast drinks and specialty coffee drinks. It’s super cute, and I love that you can sit there to dine if you want.

The outdoor area is really spacious, and the best part is that you can bring your DOG. Restaurants that have a dog patio automatically get bonus points in my mind.

The food is amazing. Like, so good. Every day they make a new ‘pancake of the day,’ but I always get the Pineapple Upside-down Pancake. It’s my favorite, it’s SO. GOOD. One thing that I really like about the pancakes is that they’re super non-traditional. Not only are they cooked with cool ingredients, but they’re topped with unique things like cinnamon butter, cream cheese icing, chocolate sauce, pomegranate, etc. It’s not your standard buttermilk and syrup pancake.

Although they have a pretty large menu with a lot of awesome choices, they also do the basics, like really well. Their hash browns are some of the best everrrr, and they also do a killer job with bacon, eggs, etc.

Wash it down with a a vanilla iced latte, and you’re good to go!

I agree, this is a great place. Dog friendly patio is super comfortable, too.
