Decades of Disney.
When you live in Southern California, Disneyland becomes a part of your culture. If you don’t have a disneyland pass, several of your friends definitely do. If you go to the airport, you see hoards of families excited to start their Disney vacation, or heading home, exhausted from several days straight at the park. And even if you don’t live in Southern California, it’s hard to escape the notoriety and excitement surrounding DL SoCal.
With my recent move from Orange County to Las Vegas, it didn’t make sense to keep my Disneyland pass. It lapsed on February 3rd, and I thought I’d throw together a few photos from my times there over the years. I threw in a few snaps that my grandparents took while visiting Disneyland in the 60s. It’s pretty amazing to see what’s stayed the same and what’s changed.
It’s a Small World, late 1960’s.
Teacups, Late 1960’s.
Paradise Pier, Summer 2017. (Goodbye Paradise Pier!!!)
Christmas on Main Street, December 2017.
*I honestly have no clue where this was taken, December 2011.
A very blurry Pirates of the Caribbean line, December 2010.
Teacups, September 2017
Until next time, Disneyland.
If you want to see more of my Disneyland snaps, I have holiday posts here and here. If you want current updates, my sweet friend Mariah and her cute baby go to Disneyland all the time. She has a blog and instagram.
